Left home early for our roadtrip to Margaret River!
It was a long journey there, taking almost 3-4 hours on the road.
So dasao and I took turns to drive there, taking over when the other is tired.
While on the roads, we enjoyed the beautiful scenery <3
And finally, we arrived at our FIRST stop - Busselton Jetty!!!
Whenever the winds blowed, it was super cold.
But the scenery and the view was 100.
We spent an hour + taking photos there, and just looking around.
I wanted to try the underwater viewing, but due to the bad sea conditions, it was closed as the water was murky. sigh.
Before heading on to the next location, we got our coffee at a drive-thru.
Super cool, and the coffee was nice!
Our next stop was along the coast where we stopped by to listen to the HUGE waves, and for more photo-taking!
lil nat was quietly sitting on the rocks, colouring on her new book, when i noticed a rainbow above her!!
so amazing and beautiful!!
Next, we grab our lunch at a random shop we found along the way to Ngilgi cave.
Bought a burger, and it was actually quite tasty.
After resting, we proceeded on with the journey.
It was cave time!
Margaret River have many different caves along the coast, but they were all located at different parts.
Based on recommendations, many said that Ngilgi cave was the prettiest and so we headed there.
Got our entrance ticket, and down we go!
One of the paths required us to crawl through this tunnel-slide look-alike. Cool!
Being a geog student, all these limestones (stalactites, stalagmites) interest me so much!
I found it so amusing how they all formed, and identifying the different patterns available.
After leaving the cave, we went to the chocolate factory and bought chocosss!!!
And that's where I got my Rocky Road~~ yum yum.
They were about to close, so we got our chocos quickly.
Headed for dinner at a neighbourhood along the way back to our airbnb!
I forgot the name, but we just randomly entered an italian restaurant and had steak, pasta, salad and cheesecake!!! so good!!!!
Shop for a bit at Target, before we left the neighbourhood.
So it was totally dark and we had to use our high beam.
But because it was totally dark, the skies were FULL of stars.
SO PRETTY.
That it got abit dangerous when i was driving, because every few seconds I will be looking up to see the stars even when im driving.
Thus, I decided to stop by the side of the road, to just gaze at the stars...
I came out of the car and went to stand inside, but the dark forests spooked me, and I was afraid a random snake or animal might come out, so i quickly went back into my car :P
So yes. That was what went down for Margaret River!
