#JessKarHitsBKK Day THREE!

8 December, Day Three

Kickstarted our Monday by having breakfast at Macs. Why macs? Because we were told to try their pork burger which is not available in SG! and the really cool thing was, they didn't have milo there, but it was Horlick instead! It's been so long since I drank ice horlick so it was quite yumz!

We went to Siam Paragon, Siam Square, Siam center and MBK for the day but it really wasn't anything fantastic at all... Infact, I found these malls boring. :p

But we both just anyhow walked around and the next thing we know, we found ourselves shopping at some stores along some alleys! And it was heaven once again!! (I enjoy shopping at such stores than in malls. Firstly, the clothes are cheaper. And secondly, they're nicer!)

While shopping, one of the shops had a lil puppy and it was just too cute to resist taking a picture with it!! It honestly looks like a toy puppy!

And the next thing we know, we chanced upon the Hello Kitty Cafe! It's one of those cafes that I wanna visit, but we weren't exactly looking for it! So our responses were just like "oh! It's here! Let's just try it!"

I really love this Candy Cream Cheesecake, it wasn't just pretty but it was yummy too!!

Throughout the whole stay in this cafe, Jess and I just kept saying "we act one hello kitty fan all". And we just kept laughing at ourselves. Haha!

But hey! I found a really cool ride there ;) I would looveeee to have such a car in the future... 😍 haha, I'm sorry but I just really love pink!!! :p

Before continuing anymore shopping, I went to get myself a rootbeer float from A&W cafe :))

Towards the evening, we met Si for dinner, and for the first and last time during our stay in BKK, we took the BTS!! Here's the thing, J and I loves to walk. I mean we prefer walking than taking the BTS. Haha! We actually walked from our hotel all the way to Siam area (it wasn't that far but it was almost about 20mins walk?)

So yeah, caught a beautiful shot of the sunset :))

While waiting for Si to do her brows, we went to visit this ice cream parlour, called Tropical Monkey, upon Si's recommendation! It was a really nice icecream parlour and they had a wide range of flavours for us to choose! (More will be blogged about in my food posts coming up soon!)

Then we headed to Greyhound cafe, which was another cafes I wanted to visit for dinner! It was more like a restaurant-cafe, and the foods were just simply.... Delicious. I ordered the Fettuccini with shrimp & mushroom cream sauce and it was good!! (Ok, I will blog about the rest in the post!!! Just wait for it! I'm compiling the best best food places to go in bkk under one post)

And after dinner, we went to the night market around the area opp Big C, and did abit more shopping before heading back to our hotel to rest! (And the above picture is my loots for day 3. Hehe)

#JessKarHitsBKK Day TWO!

7 December, Day Two

It was Sunday and where else should we be heading to, but Chatuchak?
I was so excited to go to Chatuchak because everyone was saying how we go BKK must definitely go during weekend for the weekend market!

But before going there, I had to change money, so I was looking for Super Rich money exchange, that my bro said has the highest rates in BKK! So while waiting for it to open, we had breakfast at some random roadside stall, and I tried their Chicken rice. It wasn't too bad and it was only 20 baht!!!

So after everything, we took a TukTuk to Chatuchak (despite my mom telling me not to because it's dangerous... So when I came back, my mom was nagging at me and telling me "why you still go take when I say don't!" And my reply? "Go Thailand ofcos must try everything and experience everything mah!")

It was really so fun to take it and the wind was making my hair all messed up! And I was so yolo because I actually put my phone out of the TukTuk to take a selfie of us. Hehe

Once we reached Chatuchak, I started my shopping immediately :p *unleash my shopaholic nature*

You cannot say that you've been to Chatuchak if you have not tried their Coconut icecream!! It was soooo shiok to eat it in the super hot sunny weather!!

During lunch time, we met Jess's Thai friend, Si! So thankful that she drove because we can put down our heavy loots in her car (which wouldn't affect my further shopping hehe)

Lunch was so yummy and it was really tasty!! And it was cheap too!

The mangoes in bkk are just so sweet and yummy and I just ordered a mango smoothie from a random fruit juice stall that was crowded! :p (feel like drinking it now as I blog. Boo)

And woohoo! We found the famous Honey Glazed Pork Chop in Chatuchak! But it was located at some ulu part and it wasn't as crowded as the main shopping area! It was just so so yummy I can't even!!!!!!! If it was at the main area, I'm pretty sure it would be very crowded!

In the evening time, we went to Si house to just chill awhile before heading for this restaurant that has the best hor fun and Tom yum!!!!! (Btw, all the super yummy foods, I will have a separate post about it!)

So yes!! This was my day two and these are all my loots for that day :D
