Finally found some time to update on my trips, but hmm, I think i can only do for the first day, before I have to leave home to head to Thailand!
So in August, EKGR finally had our first ever overseas trip together (other than the one we had in Sec1 going to Malacca lol).
It was also my very first time heading to Penang, and I was sooo excited!!! So here goes! (lots of food and photos to come :p)
We immediately checked into our humble abode once we arrived and it was a really cute place!
The hosts were really friendly and gave us a map of George Town and introduced many food places for us to eat at, as well as telling us where's the mural street etc.
Our first stop was at Jalan Penang, where we ordered almost everything and anything available :P
We were seriously feasting like mad... and though we were already super full, we still ordered more food.
The Assam Laksa truly lived up to it's name... and not forgetting, the famous Chendol!!! OMOOO.
After filling up our tummies, we then walked and explored around George Town and went by some super cute and pretty murals!!
And obviously, girls do what they do best - photossss!! :p
We were so close to finishing it... but man, we felt stupid. HAHAH.
Our next stop was at Chew Jetty to watch the sunset as well as to see the beautiful landscape over there!
And right after, we headed opposite to have our dinner... (we were still full then, but then, it was dinner time... so...)
The food here was so-so.
After dinner, we went to the very beautiful cafe+shop+museum China House!
It was soooo nice in there, i think it was the best thing we did in day one :P
We ordered and shared the sticky date pudding, and we started playing some drawing and guessing game!
I really like the whole concept of this store, and it was just so nice to chill there!
