Day 4 of HONG KONG

8 January, 2016

It was a day of shopping, adventure and feasting!
Before I reached HK, I was already telling C how much I wanted to eat at Ichiran Ramen and that I really wanted to try it for myself.
But just before we went for a meal there, we went to the F21 flagship store in HK, and it was hugeee.
And yay, because there was sales all over!! :D

After shopping inside F21 for about 2 hours, we went on to have our lunch at Ichiran Ramen!
It was such an interesting setting, and it was all individual cubicles.
There were many different options for us to choose from and the waitress served us our bowl of noodles through the cubicle opening.
And after they served it to us, they will pull down the blinds and so we have our private "room".
It was so so yummy and I really enjoyed it so much!
In fact, I finished every single drop of the broth.
It was so so satisfying, and thankfully, the timing that we went was not crowded so we did not need to queue ;)

Thereafter, C was introducing to me that there were many cheese tarts around the area and that it was all popular.
So she brought me to BAKE that was located inside the Sogo Supermarket.
It was my first time hearing about this brand and when I saw the queue, I was really excited to try.
Thankfully, the queue wasn't too long (i think we queued for about 30 minutes or so?) and C was saying how it can take up to hours on weekends.
When it was finally our turn to order, the cheese tarts looks so heavenly, smelled so good, I was so so...
And when I took the first bite into the hot-freshly-out-of-oven-cheesetart, I died.
The whole cheese was soooo tasty, so cheesy,.. it totally just MELTED in my mouth.
The crust was so crispy, everything about it was just so, perfect.
Just blogging about this makes me wanna go to Ion to get it now since that they just opened in SG!

We then went to AIA carnival and I met a few of C's friends there!
This carnival is almost similar to the AIA Winter Wonderland that we have it in SG's Gardens By The Bay every December, except that the rides here are crazier and amazing.
There was an entrance fee that we needed to pay, and we were also given some coins to take the rides.
And the first ride that i took was (in my opinion), the scariest and thrilling ride!
It turns upside down, swings from left to right, and turns 360 degrees throughout.. non stop!
I saw HK in an upside down manner and it was super thrilling and fun!!!!
I really wonder where I get all these bravery from, but I enjoyed it wayyyy too much!
Then we went to play with those carnival booths (which I think is a waste of money :p) before I went on another ride that was almost as crazy as the first one.

When it was almost evening, we make our way to the Peak!
And it was so crowded, we had to queue to purchase the tickets before we were squeezing to get onto the tram that will take us to the peak.
It was so cold up there with the night winds blowing rather strongly.
But the view was magnificent.. it was so gorgeous, and i could see a 'heartshape' formed by the buildings. hehe.
I think we stayed up there for quite a while before we were all feeling its toooo cold and we needed to get out of there :P
While making our way down, there was also a queue... so crowdeddd!!
But we finally left, and was making our way to Mong Kok for our dinner!!

What's HK without the HK egglets and waffle right? But honestly, I didn't really quite enjoyed it ;P
But the fries, was yummy!!

And what's MongKok without buying the coconut drink right?? I told them that I def had to get it again when we reached Mong Kok, and so i did!

In the photos above, C and M bought it to let me try their secondary school days/childhood food.. It was quite unique!

And ofcos, Godiva icecream- my first time trying it and it was so cholatey yummy!
And... Lady M's cakes!!! (it's more expensive in HK, but for these 2 slices, we got it for free!!!)
We were actually queueing behind this couple to get the cakes, but in the end, the couple took ALL the cakes that were left... and so, we couldn't get anymore. :(
But C knew the person working there and he heard about how sad we were that we didn't get to buy it, that he actually went to check their fridge for cakes that cannot be sold (because they did not slice the cakes properly etc)
And it didn't matter because they were still edible.. so we were very blessed!! :D

And then we went to take pictures that could be printed out along the streets of MK.
It was so beautiful and it was fun taking the pics with C and M!
I especially liked the Princess Sickness one :P Hehe.

And when we were finally back home, C suddenly surprised me with my super advanced 21st birthday present!!
I was so touched, shocked and felt so blessed :')
Because she won't be in SG during my birthday, she gave it to me in HK.
Such a friend like her, where to find!! ♡
