Day 5 of HONG KONG

9 January, 2016

A day out to Stanley!!
And it was only possible because of C's parents who took us on a day-trip there!
Stanley is a pretty far place, and it's not so accessible.
Thankfully, C's dad drove us there and it was almost an hour drive from Tsing Yi!!
We drove past Ocean Park and I got to see how huge OP is!!
I didn't get to go OP during this trip sadly, but I guess it's another reason for me to go back to HK then :p
The road started to become narrower and winding and we were driving upwards.
Passed by many landed properties and saw some small and private beaches along the way too, and I found out that it was a place where foreigners lived at, and I even saw some caucasians family!
It reminded me of Sentosa Cove area truthfully haha!

And when we finally arrived at Stanley's, and parked the car, we were greeted with sea breezes.
It was indeed quite a sight to behold and we took many many pictures! (in fact, the entire day spent at Stanley were filled with photo-taking moments)

We had our lunch at this bright yellow cute building called the boathouse and it was western food!
We ordered 4 main dishes to share and it was all super yummy!!!
I am really grateful and thankful for C's parents, and they were really so so nice!! I felt as if they were my own parents, and I felt so loved!!

After our lunch, we continued to explore Stanley, and went to this huge rocky area.
It was all super picturesque and it was a good location to spam photos again! hehe.

Oh yeah, we walked past many many big dogs, and they were all super pretty (the photo above showed 2 of the most elegant dogs we saw that day).
But I guess, since Stanley is an area where the rich lives, their dogs will also have a very good life :P
But anyhow, i really enjoyed the sea breezes over there (it was really super windy) and the sight of the huge vast waters..
Stanley fast became my favouritest place in HK!

We continued walking and went to Stanley's old street to take a look around.
But stopped by the supermarket, and I bought back that many cup noodles because it's apparently HK's best cupnoodles.. Or C's favourite. Haha.
When we covered everything, we left Stanley and headed back towards the main city area for our dinner.

I forgot where we went, but I think it was Tsim Sha Tsui :p
And C brought me to try another famous HK's egglet shop that had a long queue (HK people really queue up a lot :P) and I went to buy my Hui Lau Shan again! keke.

And then we went to find where's Jenny Bakery at and there was another long long long queue. :O
There were a few counterfeit shops inside that same building, so you gotta really look for the authentic one yourself.
However, we came to realise that Jenny Bakery is actually not very well-known among the locals, because C's parents and herself didn't know that it was this popular, and we came to the conclusion that it only became popular because of all the tourists. :P
But anyway, we just queued up since my sister loooveesss it and she asked me to buy it back for her.
It's pretty pricey but definitely much cheaper than the outlet in SG!

After we got our cookies, they took me to this popular restaurant for our dinner, and gosh, it was indeed yum to the my, yummy.
They were well known for their fishball noodles, and their garlic bread....
I guess just by looking at the pictures, you will start to salivate... because I am, and I MISS this bread. :'(
We were super duper full after this meal due to the snacks previously.
And we were ready to head back to home!

After we put our things down at home, we went down for a night walk along the waters, accompanied by a soft-serve.
We had more HTHT moments (& romantic too) while strolling along the waters and looking at all the skyscrapers.
It was really beautiful, and it was also my last night in HK already. :'(

And yeap, when we went back home, I had to pack my luggage and prepare for my flight in the morning.. :'(
