#Karerry in TW: Day 2

8th May, 2016

Woke up rather early, around 9? And the first thing that we bought, or had for breakfast was Koi! :p
And it's because Koi was just below our hotel hehe.
We made our way towards Jin Feng Lu Rou Fan to have our breakfast, and it's also because, every time I am in TW, i HAVE to eat it.
It's one of the B-E-S-T ru rou fan everrrrr.

I ordered the large portion, as I was afraid the medium would be too little ... and maybe because I was a little too greedy but hey, since I get to eat it once in a long while, why not right!!
C and I both topped up eggs, and we also ordered a meat soup to share. (Can't remember the name, but it was recommended by their staff and it was really not bad!)

It was such a satisfying and mouth-watering breakfast, I was sooo happy!
You can never have such a yummy bowl anywhere else!

Thereafter, we made our way to Wu Fen Pu to get our shopping therapy done.
It started to drizzle while we were making our way there, and then it started pouring when we were inside Wu Fen Pu.
Sadly, it wasn't an indoor shopping center, so we had to hold on to our umbrellas and just continue on with our shopping.
Maybe its the timing that we went, or because of the weather, but it was not crowded at all!
And a good thing is that the shops all had an extended shelter, so when they overlap each other, it provided us with a fairly-ok shelter :P

We literally covered the entire place, (i should think so), and we bought sooo much, our hands were breaking from carrying the weight, and our legs were so numbed from walking.
I think we shopped non-stop for like 2-3 hours, when we finally decided that we need to take a rest.

We were walking around trying to find cafes in the vicinity, and it's to also waste some time, because our night agenda was to head to Raohe Night market.
But sadly, there were no cafes around, and the only one that we found was this bubble tea shop, and thankfully there were tables and chairs, so yeah, we settled down there.
I guess, bubble tea in TW can never go wrong, so even though I forgot what shop name it was, their drinks were still acceptable, and nice!

When it was evening, and we had enough rest for our tired legs, we walked towards Raohe Night Market for our dinner!
But before we went into the night market, we did the smartest thing ever.
We rented a locker at the station, and deposited all our shopping loots inside. I guess it's a good foresight ;)
Because the night market is gonna be crowded, and we wouldn't have much hands to eat our food!!
And up till today, I really think its such a smart decision and I'm so glad we made that decision :P

Arrived at Raohe Night Market, and lo and behold, it was. Crowded.
The last time I came to the night market was last year, with my family, and I really quite like the food!
And so, some touristy shots before starting on our food hunt!

This cheesy omelette goodness. Look at that cheeeeeesseeee !

Terriyaki sauce chicken!

Quail eggs with different sauces, i forgot which flavour we got :P

Our happy faces with all the yummy food!!

Flame grilled beef slices! nom!

And.... C is drinking WATERMELON juice. I mean, who doesn't take fruits!??! Her.

So after we ate and ate non stop, we went to do some more shopping, and went into my favourite bag shop in Raohe night market!
The bags are really of good material, and its pretty cheap and reasonable!
And, I am a VIP there :P
(we shopped too much there last year that's why :P)

And with this, we ended our day 2 in TW!
